Sofia Kazila is more than the inspiration for this book. She is the Angel beyond the clouds who saved the author’s life. A retired Judge in Athens, Greece, she searched high and low until she found the key to the author’s heart, which he had locked away after loss. She is the Lady who showed Taso there is life after death and Love after death. This book is a tribute to her patience, love, and the powerful, international connection that defied the 9,482 kilometers between them.

Crafting meaningful connections

For me, writing SOFIA: AN ANGEL BEYOND THE CLOUDS was about forging the most important connection of all: the connection back to life. My book is a journey, from the depths of loss and a “double-locked iron cage”, to finding destiny and love with Sofia Kazila across 9,482 kilometers. My goal is to create a true story that proves to every reader: Love after death is real, and the human spirit can always triumph and connect on a meaningful level.
