My Journey

I am Taso Papargiriou, an author and a survivor. My life began with struggle in Greece; I started working at age six, eventually serving in the Navy and sailing with the Merchant Marine before coming to the United States.

This resilience was tested by the profound loss of my wife and son. I was lost until I found my “Angel”, Sofia Kazila, who helped me unlock my heart’s “iron cage” and find love again. My book, SOFIA: AN ANGEL BEYOND THE CLOUDS, is a monument to our victory over distance and despair, a testament that hope and love after death are real.
